I'm not sure of I'm reading between the lines too much, but you seem to think up a lot of long, plotty multichaper things. It's very difficult to keep inspiration/momentum up for something that sweeping and epic, especially if your time is limited and fragmented. Maybe try shorter pieces -- or even poems! You'll still be expressing your fandom love, just... in bitesize hors d'oeuveres rather than a 10-course meal. Posting a short piece that's DONE can be very satisfying.

Shorter pieces could also have the advantage of luring in new fans for your rarepair.
