Yeah, this.

It's one thing enjoying, appreciating, and even immersing oneself in a particular piece of media, but the kind of fans you're talking about are the ones who seem to assume they're owed something for being a fan. Which is obnoxious enough in fandoms that ARE aimed specifically at them. But Disney/Steven Universe/whatever else... yeah. Enjoy it, go nuts over it, but keep an eye on the fact that you're not the target audience.
