Exactly. Hanging on to your childhood loves can be wonderful and there's nothing inherently wrong with that.

But it can be DONE very, very wrong and if you're insisting on getting other peoples attention to your fail-fanning, you should be called out. A bronie shouldn't bring his life sized fuck pony to a My little pony-park for instance and the same goes for Disney.
