I... actually forgot her name but she was pretty popular on deviantart for a while. She had a few original characters she was utterly in love with, one of which was a huge camp gay stereotype pirate French dandy mix and both his design as well as his anatomy were such a mess. She always seemed very arrogant, was studying animation and wanted to create an animated short with the pirate character for a final, never even finished half of it but still passed with flying colours etc.
I just couldn't stand her because I was always so annoyed how someone with such a terrible grasp of anatomy, design and storytelling could be so damn conceited and actually get asspats by so many people for the crap they created.

Are we looking at the same person here? Because I know exactly who you're talking about, and she's a DAMN fine artist.

Her "issue" with anatomy was done as a stylistic choice. It was supposed to be exaggerated (He got a recent redesign by the way. Better anatomy just for you, nonny!) If you look at her more realistic work, you can see that she has a good grip on anatomy. His costumes and make-up can be a bit busy at times, but it fits him, so whatever.

Methinks you either caught her on a bad day and dismissed her as a jerk, or made a snap judgment based off of popularity, because she's not that bad, at least from what I read and saw.

That picture in the secret is terribly ugly and badly drawn. It looks plain unprofessional. Her design choices are bad as can be.
And as I said, I hate it when people are not particularly talented, fucking conceited about it and actually get rewarded for it.
