This is me. I'm poor. Today I worked from 7am to 8pm. I had no energy to cook anything "real" when I got home, which is the case most days. (Tomorrow I will work from 7am to 11pm, but I will get some kind of dinner at my second job, thankfully.) I like fresh fruits and vegetables, but I can't afford them. Especially in winter here in the Northeast. So I mostly eat unhealthily, even if I would prefer not to. It's what I can afford both monetarily and energy-wise.
