It took me a while to realize that one thing I really like is complicated relationships. They might be outright enemies, they might be former friends, they might both be villains who are awful to everyone but each other, they might be long time friends with really bad lives and stuff they have to work through. But whatever the case, I like complicated. I don't want it to be easy, nor do I want the sort of conflict that would be easily resolved if they just talked to each other. I want stuff that actually takes work, and then I want to see them doing the work.
