What unsolved mysteries are you really into?

Can be criminal or otherwise.

I kind of love the ones where it's like. Really obvious who did it, or what actually happened, but there's still a thriving conspiracy theory around it anyway. I find that really funny for some reason.

What I find interesting is crimes where either there is a clear answer but at the time the person got away with it because of something particular to that time period (I'm talking cases like Lizzie Bordon) or cases where someone was convicted of the crime but they most likely either didn't do it or had co-criminals who were never caught (the Lindbergh Kidnapping for example). Actually, unsolved crimes in general have been an interest of mine.

May I ask what you mean about Lizzie Borden?

Well, one of the reasons she was exonerated was because there were cloths with blood on it, but she claimed they were period blood, and everyone instantly bought that and no one examined them further.

Who the Zodiac Killer is. There are some pretty good ideas of who but nothing definite.

And it was so long ago, I don't think we will get a (comical) reveal like BTK.

This and the Black Dahlia murder. Both are just...grotesque and fascinating at the same time.

The Voynich Manuscript

Even it is a fabrication intended to swindle the gullible, with no substantive meaning, I would love to know the circumstances in which it was created. How did the author come up with all various fictional flora, fauna, constellations, etc.? How long did it take him? Did he create any other manuscripts? Etc.

The Tamam Shud case and Dyatlov Pass incident. For some reason, the Tamam Shud case gives me the willies, even though the truth could easily be very mundane. The Dyatlov Pass incident is a lot weirder, but doesn't freak me out much.

Tanan Shud is a legitimate unsolved mystery, but Dyatlov Pass isn't. It's only a "mystery" to people who don't understand how hypothermia works and how easy it is to die under those conditions, or people who have read misinformation on the case that's misleading about how supposedly spooky it is.

D. B. Cooper. I really wanna know who the person behind D.B. Cooper really was...and I wanna know what happened with the rest of the money that he demanded and then took with him when he leaped from the plane. Is he alive or dead?

Just...it's fucking FASCINATING.

I like the classics... the Mary Celeste ghost ship, Jack the Ripper, D.B. Cooper, the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run, Lizzie Borden, Lindbergh baby kidnapping, etc.
