LOL, what? I wasn't talking about politics specifically. It's something that happens in any conversation, not just political ones. And it has happened multiple time to me, with a few different people.

Please, tell me how anything in my original post had to do with "acting like certain elements of the left don't aggressively try to shut down others."

You don't even know what my political opinions are, so you can't possibly know if I'm supportive of "the left" or anything?
