53. YES! THANK YOU! Haruhi is much cuter then Kyonko and she doesn't really work as a guy. Her genderbending rarely does her justice.

Yes, she's much cuter as a girl. The only pictures of Haruki I've liked have been ones where they changed the headband to headphones. I just... well, frankly I burst out laughing when he wears the headband. XD

Having Kyon be Kyonko, but the other characters being the way they are would be hysterical, but I admit I like yuri, and well, despite knowing in the light novels that Itsuki loves Haruhi, I can't help that the boy sets off my gaydar. If the show were a bunch of girls (some interested in each other, some straight) with their gayboy friend doing a Scooby Gang/high school X-files sorta thing, investigating supernatural mysteries? I would watch the shit out of it. And I am not ashamed to say it. If you wanted to turn Mikuru into a bashful boy (gay or straight), that could be super cute, too. But Haruhi and Yuki just rock as girls. End of story. I really think Haruhi/Kyonko would be cute, though. :x

Wah, I'm glad someone other than me agrees with this! T_T And I got a little distressed after reading some people's posts about how they preferred Kyonko over Haruhi over at the Animesuki forum.... u_u
