18. I kind of agree with this, if only because I've heard what people think of her - and as a result, associate with bisexuality. They chalk the whole thing up as dramatic, attention whorish faking, her AND her orientation. Which annoys me because bisexuality != wanting everyone all the time.

42. .. wow. you were in HP fandom and SUPERNATURAL fandom seems ridiculous? ... it must be worse than I thought.

52. Sigh. These secrets annoy me. Why bother ranting against it? Like what you like, dislike what you don't, big deal. I used to not care much - then I started reading the commentary and for some reason that made the comic 2389752938 times better and now I'm a big fan. To each his own, you know?

but you have to admit Derringer's bunny is really cute. I want a plush of that thing.

I think I smell hypocrisy.

When I said "why bother ranting against it," I didn't mean the comic, I meant why bother ranting against the secret in response to the "b4 sandra's butthurt fangirl stormtroopers." Because like .. well. who cares.

aside from the bunny. if you dislike the bunny, you must have no soul.

I dislike the bunny. Well, ok, I have nothing against the bunny personally. I dislike how much of a fanbase he has. Seriously kids, It's 5 ovals and a line. Yet all the fan girls are like "OMFG!!!!!1 IT'S SO DAMN CHIBI!!" Just look at the fanart contest. There were like 2 that involved Fox and Collin, yet at least half had the bunny. It isn't a real character. It's just something cute to put in the panels sometimes.

I have to admit, I agree with secret 52. Maybe not to the extent they went to, but the comic would be far better if it went back to being about Fox and Collin. I mean, in the past year Collin has probably showed up less than the rest of the main cast, and honestly I think he's the most developed, intersting character in the comic. So much opportunity for real plot, yet we're chasing pirates in Colorado?

The comic is by no means bad now, but it's losing the spark that really made me love it. That may be saying something since I've been reading this comic (well, BmB at first) through most of high school and all of college.

... does the bunny have limbs? I always believed it was just kind of a round thing that just ... appeared. Like magic. I just have such a soft spot in my heart for that strange, special bunny, forgive me. I'd be worried if it suddenly got a ton of screen time, but as we do not see it that often, I feel it's within limits to love it in my own way.

Well, I don't exactly disagree. At some point I sensed something had just .. HAPPENED to Fox. I don't like him as much as I used to. There's definitely a BmB thing happening here where Sandra is getting bored with her main cast and gravitating towards the peripheral characters. That's how Fox and Collin came to star in FH, as far as I know. And I mean, I miss Collin. Quite a lot. I miss characters like Arath and Fox's whole family and Collin's mom who have depth (imo) to speak of and aren't simply one trick ponies like Leslie, much as he amuses me sometimes.

Sandra is totally entitled to do what she thinks is fun - it IS her comic - but we can't be blamed for wanting certain things as fans, either; I don't think that makes us disloyal or anything.

I don't think I would mind the gravitating towards other characters if those other characters were especially interesting. Don't get me wrong, I like the newspaper staff and other of the newer characters, but they just don't have the same depth as the original cast. And if we're exploring different characters, can we find out more about Arath, and other people in Collin's life? I feel like we've spent the last year and a half following fox and the newspaper staff. I feel like all that group has to offer is ridiculous, zany plot lines. Which are fun, sometimes, but you can't base a whole comic on it.

Really, I just miss Collin. I miss him a lot. At least he's doing more than just acting the worried housewife in this story arc.
