Exactly. And more what I was trying to express was... I keep having friends come to me and say, "Look at that person! They're not really transgender, are they?" And sometimes, after hearing out their case on why so-and-so is not trans, I think they may be right. Then I realize it's not my fucking business. I always feel as if they expect me to thank them for pointing this person out, or that I should be mad someone is like that. Instead I'm mad that they feel that's something worth being threatened by. You can think whatever you want about someone, but you'll never know their heart. Just like some people would drag up being in this or that fandom as a reason that someone isn't really transsexual, so people in my life have sought to find reasons and excuses why I'm not. People pretend they're more openminded for accepting me, but it's because they know me, not because they really believe there is something to this transgender thing.

I think...for some people fandom is a comfort zone, and at the same time it's a bunch of catty cows (And I Know I've been on both sides, unfortunately, even if I try to stay to the "good") And I understand why people get frutrated but I also have seen people who honestly DO need this outlet, and might not because yeah, it sometimes seems every other 13 year old who picks up Gravitation suddenly thinks they're really a boy deep down. But in someways I think maybe fandom is opening up some sorta of boundaries where we CAN feel like boys, or boys can feel like girls (I have no idea which way you are anon), and because it's kinda new and shiny at first everyone swings to one extreme.

And eventually I think most of them will realize their not, their just tomboys or whatever, but if it gives one person a safe places who can't find one in the "real" world, who's business is it to decided who's "Really" this or that? Like you said only THEY can really know what's going on inside, and specially with being transgender, from an outsiders presepctive it's already confusing and hard enough without having people nit pick every little detail to see if they're "really" trangender.
