If you would like to read some NCIS fanfic that covers a wide variety of pairings, plots, even some AU, I would recommend
ncis_ficathon. I have seen a lot of good writing there.

There is a rather high propensity for slash in the fandom, which surprised me in the beginning.

It's not even just the slash, but the complete domination of ONE pairing. I don't, honestly, I've ever seen a fandom so in love with one relationship. :P
