Yay baking! Enjoy! For frosting, maybe look at some of the premade stuff for working with at his age. I'm not a decorator, I usually just let the cookies stand on their own because I don't have the patience for decorating. I don't know how you plan to ship cookies (are you mailing lots?) but I've found using takeout plastic Chinese food containers and sticking them in bubble wrap envelopes has worked well. The bubble wrap envelopes usually tend to be cheaper to ship than the boxes.

Tonight was Star Wars night at the Devils hockey game, tomorrow is errands in the morning and then I'm going to a geek girl party in the city. Sunday is a belated Friendsgiving where there's so many of us that we rent a hall. And I'm baking rum cake Sunday morning to bring.

I think I am going to make 2-3 types of a dozen or so each. Chocolate chip for sure. Crack Candy maybe (not technically cookies). And maybe some of the sugar cookies we do.

How was the game? Enjoy all the partying you will doing on Sunday.:D

As typical, it was a terrible game of hockey, but it was a fun theme night and it was great to catch up with friends.
