There were a few years in my teens when the ABC (Australian) put on versions of the Nutcracker. However those tended to be live action ballet performances, one I recall was the more traditional one, and one was a based-on-a-true-story piece of how Russian ballerinas escaped Soviet Russia and moved to Australia, set to the Nutcracker music.

I kinda wish there was more Nutcracker broadcasts at Christmas.
