I think I'm going to be fired. I found a job listing for my position. I'm the only full timer and the position was for full time. And they just hired a part-timer. The only other possibility would be transferring me to another position, but it's kind of company policy for the person to officially accept the other position before they post the job listing.

I'm having so many mixed feelings. I hate my job and the company I work for, but it's still a job. And I've already been fired before and this will just make me feel even more of a failure.

boo :( is your workplace downsizing?

Most people are fired at least once. I've been technically fired twice (though the second time was a very close call between them firing me first and me quitting, I was going to call them later that same day and quit; it was NOT a good workplace). The first time I was really upset though. :/ Please don't feel like a failure. Being fired is extremely normal.

It doesn't hurt to look as much as you can into other opportunities and fill out applications. If you think you're going to be fired, get something else lined up as soon as possible, if you can, and then get out - it'll be smoother for you, if nothing else!
