Yo I don't understand why everyone is jumping up your ass. I understand you. You were a little kid hoping to see a character you loved, but instead was greeted by someone who didn't fit the description at all. Seeing a taped version of the Peter Pan play threw me off when I was a kid too. A grown woman playing Peter was incorrect, and it bothered tiny, simple me. Kids don't give understand things like child labor laws, or give a shit about artistic license. You were disappointed, and you're entitled to those feelings. Everyone in this thread who's clutching their pearls over your hyperbolic descriptive words needs to get off their high horses.

Because there is a world of difference between "I was disappointed" and "the casting was shitty"

being disappointed as a kid is one thing, but they're clearly still... um, way too fucking invested in it to this day
