16. Aw, I love Sam&Max. :(

But I understand how the humor may not be for everyone. But you don't have to start with S&M. Try Monkey Island, maybe, or Day of the Tentacle? Or if you just can't get into he humorous games, try some of the more serious ones. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of the best games ever. &hearts

I didn't know there was a Sam & Max game, but someone loaned me a collection of the comics a while back and it was HILARIOUS. It's definitely a...particular type of humor, though.

Hahahaha yes, the comics are hilarious.

If you liked the comics, you should like the games. Sam and Max Hit the Road (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Hit_the_Road) is a classic adventure game and it's awesome if you lik adventure games. Then there a series of episodic games called Season One (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Season_One) and Season Two (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Season_Two). I haven't played them yet, but people tell me they're good too.

I dunno, this is the second or third "I don't get Sam & Max's joke" in a month. I've played all of season one, so am I just missing something? Does season two really up the obscurity in its humor or something? I never found S1 to be too out there. Crazy as hell, but not jarring.

Your thoughts, fellow Sam and Max'er?

No thoughts at all about Season One or Two, unfortunately, given that I haven't played either (curse you, lack of Macintosh support). I'm waiting for the Wii release.

However, from what I've seen of the trailers and videos, the humor seems to be the same as it was in Hit the Road and the comics. I wouldn't say it's obscure, excluding the occasional rarely used word, but it's a particular kind of humor which I suppose not everyone might find funny. I dunno.
