Oooohhh. Really? I have not watched the show since...whenever Kate came back. That was the last episode I saw. Could I watch this season (since I guess it has some good Stiles plots) and understand what is going on?

There are some new characters around, but other than that the last few seasons aren't referenced that much, the focus has definitely been on this season's specific plot. The season does have a really good Stiles plot, but with not a lot of Stiles screentime this far. And, a certain ship is really dividing the fans opinions so if you hate stydia you might not love everything about this season, but last episode is still definitely a must for steter fans!

I am pretty ambivalent towards Stydia because I never excepted Stiles to actually be in a relationship with a guy. MTV may be the hip, cool channel but it still adheres to pretty strict old school guidelines.

very true! In that case I think you might enjoy the season - plotwise I've been enjoying it a lot. It's a different show so not much of that s1 charm is left, but at least the focus is back on the core cast and the concept for this season is really cool. Ofc it's only a few episodes in so there's plenty of time for the writers to screw it up again, but it does seem fairly promising. The only thing that has bugged me is the massive amount of stydia (foreshadowing or fanservie, TBD) but since that doesn't bother you as much, then yes go for it!! :)

Season 3, particularly 3b, was super-Stiles heavy and *truly awesome*. 4 was okay, 5 was awful, and so far 6 has almost no Stiles at all (he was filming movies, then he got badly hurt, then more movies, so he's been pretty much written out).

Or do you mean when Kate came back as the were- thing? I can't remember what season that was, but yeah, that was after 3b and except for the awesome scene of Derek getting his full wolf on, most of everything after that sucked balls.
