Just got back into regularly checking and this is killing my morale.

The thing is though, I swear some people are just taking longer TO post. Because I've come back hours later or even the next morning to see replies.

It does suck, though. I really wish there were a way for it to pick up. But I can't really think of anything. :/

Nah. It will be under 500 for a week or two. Then 700-1000 for a week. Then back down. People got jobs and shit.

To be frank, I remember a post getting 600ish over the Christmas holiday a couple years back and people shouting about how unbelievably shocking that was, and that it was a downward trend.

We were averaging what 1500 a year back? (2000 was the minimum on livejournal).

I just don't find the secrets lately to be terribly interesting. They may interest someone else, but many of the fandoms and/or secrets I can't relate with. Then GCs tend to recycle a lot of topics (for the record, I don't mean the ones for which responses will change, but stuff like "What was your favorite book/movie/video game/musical as a child", etc), so I tend not to reply to every one.

Same with me on GC. Also, so many threads end up just being a rainfall of responses with no replies. I think if people actually responded to each other, people might participate more.

I mean , I love quieter communities, especially seeing as we don't have too many trolls on F!S. But I would love to do this just for the fun of it.
