MisCon in Missoula, Montana, is in my top two favorite cons. It takes place over Memorial Day weekend and is just... awesome fun. I got to shoot a crossbow the first year I went. It was rad.

LTUE in Provo, Utah, is more a writer's symposium than a "con," but I learn a lot every year and have a great time.

Next year, I'm going to LibertyCon in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is the big Baen con. One of my friends (whose name I will not drop) has promised to introduce me to "everyone."

I would love to go to World Fantasy Con, but they fill up super fast and I never remember it in time to buy a membership.
