Thanks in part to the tipoff from an anon here in GC, I tried to go see George Takei's Allegiance in theatres last night with my parents, but there was only seat left, so we didn't get to. :(

The last show I saw live was the world premiere of Disney's Freaky Friday. I loved it. I had a blast. Heidi Blickenstaff and Emma Hunton were A+++. I love them. I'd seen Emma twice before as Natalie Goodman in the national tour of Next to Normal, but this was my first time seeing Heidi live, which was super exciting because I love her on the original cast recording of [title of show]. Also, I think she looks like a friend's mom. She's so pretty. I'm also bummed I haven't been able to find bootlegs of the music because for like a solid two days afterwards, I had "Oh, Biology" stuck in my head.

ETA: Just saw you didn't actually see Allegiance, so my previous weird comment is indeed a coincidence! Sorry about that, it was just a shock.

*thumbs up* for [title of show], that's such a fun show. I tell people who don't have anxiety issues that "Die, vampire!" is a good representation of what it can be like.

No worries. That is a fun, weird coincidence. On the subject, Sadie isn't my legal name. I've only recently discovered it's accepted as a diminutive form of Sarah, which is my name. But it's funny because B actually is my last initial. :) I'm glad your Sadie B got to see Allegiance. I hope she had a nice time.

And yes. "Die Vampire, Die!" is both a great song and a great representation of anxiety.

Yep, she is also a Sarah, and increasingly going by that irl/professionally but I've known her since she was 10 sooo... But this was a crazy coincidence!

I'm excited to hear more about what she thought of Allegiance when I see her Saturday for Rogue One. It sounds like a really cool show.
