I think those two are cute together, too. I guess it's because they established a really cute friendship so far.
So, even if they get together, there's a believable foundation already and that's more than pretty much all the het couples have that the post is complaining about (ie just being a man and a woman means you have to get together).

I actually do kinda hope that they get together, but if they do, I'd like to see them developing that way. Not just going "hey btw I just noticed that you're the opposite gender of me so therefore how about we date?", but an actually fleshed out romance.
