I'm so sick of winter...

It's not even the weather. The cold is annoying, but I have a nice coat and a heating pad.

No, what I really hate is it being dark all the time. I laid down for a quick nap at 3 PM, woke up at 5 PM, and it was fully dark outside, which totally fucks with my internal clock. I miss sunlight...

I love the cold but hate the dark as well. I feel like I never see the sun anymore. :C

Yeah, it's 6:30 right now, and my brain's like, "Well, it's dark. Get in your pjs and go to sleep!" I went to McDonald's for a Coke so I can stay up until 11:00 or else my sleep schedule is gonna be totally effed over my holiday break.

Winter is my favourite season, except for the whole '2 hours of sunlight a day' deal. And since I live in the UK where it's just always gloomy, half the time I don't even turn off the lights from the morning because it's so overcast during the day and my room gets totally dim by 2pm.

This is me exactly. I had the lights on all day because it was just too dark not to unless I wanted an eye strain induced migraine.

Eh, I can deal with the dark and I get really sick of summer because I hate the heat. I'm also not super into it being bright all the time because my eyes are light sensitive. I enjoyed days where it gets a little cooler and gray in the summer.

If things could always be somewhat cool and occasionally gray (some sun thrown in here and there but not all week) then I'd be happy. Basically I like fall and it doesn't last long enough for my taste.

I'm the other way around. Fuck anything that isn't between 55-65. But darkness is fine, as sunlight is bullshit.

As someone who is a better day sleeper, all this dark fucks my ability to sleep even more. Like before I could come home from work and nap, now it's too dark by the time I even get home from work. :(

I hate the dark AND the cold. I hate the cold more directly, but the lack of sunlight will take its toll over time as I start to feel the SAD kick in. :/ (I work inside in a room with no windows from 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F, so I basically don't get any sunlight during the week...)

I'm pretty sick of summer already. It's 30C today, which is standard fare for an Aussie summer. But on the bright side, at least my washing out on the clothesline will be completely dry in a matter of hours.

It is the damp that gets me in winter. It never dries out between November and April here. Everything is cold and clammy.
