(Anonymous) 2016-12-17 04:04 am (UTC)(link)like, I think what I'm trying to get across is that this tends to get framed in terms of whether or not it's OK to ship something abusive. and I'm not sure that makes sense, because they're kind of different things. Ship whatever you want, but whether or not the relationship doesn't actually have anything to do with shipping it or not shipping it. Saying "you should be able to ship whatever you want" doesn't actually relate to the question of whether relationships in fictional works are depicted as absuive.
