Yes, it's beautiful and very close to the book, except that a few characters were gendeswapped so that their names wouldn't sound incongruous with their genders to a Russian speaker. IMO that makes it even better than the original because IIRC the only female animal there was the wolf mother, which is pretty unfortunate.

I've spent the last hour and a half watching this. I think this is going to surpass even the Sabu live action from the 40s as my favorite version of Jungle Book. So thank you very much!
