Any favorite parody "abridged" anime series?

Inspired because Octopimp (behind Free's "50% Off" parody series) is totally gonna do Yuri!!! on Ice (aka Yaoi!!! on the Rocks). so excited.

I haven't watched enough to have comparisons but the Yugi oh one always cracked me up. I was never into the actual show but I had seen enough of the dub to know why it was funny.

There was an amazing Death Note one. I'm trying to remember which team did it. Not sure if it was ever finished but they did get through a bunch of episodes, and it was fucking hilarious. I still quote random lines from it with my friends.

Sane Shinji deals with with a bunch of idiots who treat him as if he is fan-whining-stereotype Shinji. With Gendo who thinks the angles are Godzillas. Skip to episode 4 for the, unlike the actual series, actually nice and heartwarming ending (sorta).

I didn't realize this was a "thing" in the anime fandoms. I just started watching the DBZ one and it's hilarious.

The DBZ one by and large. They've even done my favorite special/movie already.

(Meanwhile I'm wanting someone to branch into stuff like various Transformers series--especially an Armada abridged that pokes cracks at a ton of the script errors. I would gladly write the script if I had the chance. And direct some of the voice acting so that the Wheeljack does a hilarious riff on the most egregarious script error ever. "I'm not here for revenge, I'M HERE FOR REVENGE.")

My favorite are Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ Abridged. They both crack me up.

Ditto. I've watched other abridged shows, but those two have a certain charm that never fails to make me smile, even when I'm having a particularly bad day.
