Yeah, I can see friendly cats being annoyed by the media usually making cats aloof and looking down on everyone, and maybe being like "I'm not like other cats, I'm friendly and like social interaction!"

Dogs would complain about being made to look dumb and goofy, and cats would tell them to shut up because even if they look dumb sometimes, they're still Man's Best Friend, and generally seen as loyal and good. Male poodles and bichon frises would probably complain about always being portrayed as female. Maybe they'd post memes about how poodles were originally hunting dogs and not floofy show dogs.

Of course, this might just be in the West. In predominantly Muslim countries, dogs can be seen as unclean, but cats are okay.
