If it's online you're going to simply run that risk. As someone who's actually had artwork stolen and reposted with someone claiming it to be their own artwork, it's not fun trying to clean up after that, but really personally if someone wants to use my art in a graphic I could care less. In fact, my art has been used on F!S and they didn't even extend the courtesy of crediting and I still just let it slide. As long as someone credits really why should it matter?

Because I'd still like to be asked for my consent if they're editing my work, especially if they're editing my work to express negative feelings about the contents of my work.

I find my stuff on 4chan all the time, and that's fine, because people aren't editing it.

You know, if it was my art? I wouldn't care. Well, actually I can't draw so not actual ART, but one of my other fanworks. As long as they credit me, I wouldn't give a rat's ass.

But not everybody feels that way. I don't understand the mindset, but I do respect it. Don't fucking take somebody's art without asking them, because there's no way to know if they'll care or not.

I don't mind if people download and redistribute the art as it is where I post it. That's fine, I'm aware that will happen. that's why I put my name on the side of the piece.

I just do mind that Anon didn't ask "Is it okay if I edit and redistribute your piece?"
