22. I think they work romantically a bit better than Aang and Katara (and CERTAINLY better than Zuko/Mai. Ugh.). Don't get me wrong, Aang and Katara is adorable, with Aang's cute little puppy crush, and while I find Zutara hotter, I'd be happy for Aang if he got the girl he likes. But at the same time, I find Katara's relationship with him a little too maternal for it to work for me. She basically gave him the parental "we're proud of you" speech in "Day of Black Sun."

Either way. Just...please, not Zuko/Mai. Not only is it awful, but it's just a little too neat if everyone gets to pair off like that. I'd rather Zuko alone.

28. Oh man, Neil. Not only are you made of hot, but you basically changed my life. Puck. Oh yeah.

30. Okay, losing on the illegible first part, but I have to mention, I think the top one looks ridiculous. Even back when I really liked manga, I hated the sparkly, over-eyelashed, so-pretty-it's-coming-back-the-other-way-as-ugly type of art. So I kind of prefer the bottom one.

54. I don't ship it, but I think Chase has a kind of guy-crush on House. He's the only one of the ducklings who laughs at his jokes, who tends to accept House for who he is, and who genuinely was upset by the whole leaving thing.

55. Y'know, no, they're not overrated. Because aside from producing ten years worth of great songs and all, they were key players in the changes made to popular music in those ten years. They've gone beyond being musicians to being historical figures. Granted, the Who should probably get as much props.

Haha, agreed. I could see Chase with a mancrush on House. He seems to really, really care about his opinion. Always sucking up, too, although that's kind of his personality. D'aww....

22 - For what it's worth, I'm almost certain Zuko will end this series single and content. I'm just glad Mai finally opened up her eyes to what kind of friend she truly has in Ty Lee.

I never agreed with the idea that Katara is too maternal for Aang, considering the way things have been going in S3 (I actually feel she hides behind that facade so she can speak to him plainly). She didn't seem to consider him anything beyond a friend and student up until about season 2--and I think her growing feelings for Aang are starting to confuse and startle her.

I've finally decided to stop being shy and just add you. XD

I don't know if Mai's eyes were open, but Ty Lee definitely justified me liking her. She's the opposite of Mai, not just because she's bouncey and pink, but because she actually cares. I can't accept Mai caring about Zuko, because she doesn't even care about her own baby brother, and that's just ridiculous.

I'm fairly sure it's going to be Katara and Aang at the end of everything (though I'm sure it won't be soo much so, given that they're pretty young, and I hope they don't do a Harry Potter-esque epilogue). And I do think they're cute, but it's just not a relationship that intrests me, mostly because of the maternal thing. Granted, I think Katara's maternal with everyone, so there is that. But with her an Aang...it's just weird. Like the dance scene--gorgeous animation, fantastic dancing (yeah, I remember doing kata at prom, but then, I'm a dork), but just kind of...strange. For me, anyway. It's not a relationship I have uber-huge objections to (because darn it, Aang is cute and I do want him to be happy).

I'd say after 'The Boiling Rock', right when she made the most expressive face she's ever had in the entire series--that's when she realized just how awesome Ty Lee is. And I hope she builds on that--her ex-bf may not be willing to sacrifice everything for her, but Ty Lee will and did.

Mai is 15, extremely sheltered and spoiled--I'll grant her that when concerning Zuko. She must have thought that their entire world should have just consisted of each other--Zuko moved past that. Now it's her turn.

But I do agree on the baby brother thing--that's the one reason I could never bring myself to truly like Mai, since my own brother is nearly 12 years younger than me. I found her actions in her debut episode to be absolutely despicable and no amount of speculations concerning her reasoning will justify them. She simply did not care for her brother, and that's that.

Kataang isn't my OTP in the series (I'm partial to Zuko/Song, actually)--but it's something I find cute and I do adore Aang. I realize it's probably the end all ship in the show, which I don't object to at all.

Oh, Zuko/Song would be cute. Personally, I'd love to see Jin come back. It was really sweet, what he did for her at the fountain, and darn it, everyone else came back in DoBS.
I do like that in Avatar, even while Zutara is my favourite ship (which is probably because the first bit of Avatar I ever saw was Zuko holding the necklace to her throat, so I just assumed that was the ship that was supposed to be), that with only the one exception, there's no horrible ship in the show for me. It's so good, that I don't really care.

Of course, there's only one OTP (or rather OT3) I have, and that's Toph and Iroh shipped with Awesomeness. (My roommates say Toph should get with Zuko just so she can be related to Iroh. I'm kinda inclined to agree a bit.)

Zuko/Song would be perfect to help resolve their story arcs, but alas, I don't think the creators have been on the ball this season. Jin actually did come back in 'The Awakening'--but she was pretty much just wallpaper. Probably pasted into the frame at the last minute. =\ I want Song back, but I hope not in that fashion--she deserves more since she saved Iroh's life.

I like most of the ships in the show, but Zuko/Song is still at the top of the list for me. ^^ Maiko didn't appeal to me though, but mostly because it was just written so poorly. This is also why I found it ironic in 'The Boiling Rock'--for the first time, I felt I could take the ship seriously--and it was just as the break-up became real (rather than the equivalent to a text-msg breakup).

I FULL HEARTEDLY AGREE WITH THIS EPIC OT3. Sorry, Zuko, but you are just not awesome enough for Toph. At least, not yet. You are merely the buttmonkey to her antics--which is a good start. XD

22) I agree with you on Zuko/Mai. My problem with that pairing is they reinforce the worst of each other. Mai has locked her emotions away in a refrigerator. She can't bear her own emotions much less be emotionally supportive. She needs someone undamaged to kick her in the ass and get her to realize being an icebitch is not a desirable thing to be. Zuko is too wound up in himself to do that. Meanwhile Zuko is a ball full of hurt. He has no emotional support. The last thing he needs to heal is an emotionally unavailable woman. Put them together and you have out-of-control rage being checked by the-world-bores-me indifference.

Aang and Katara are cute... but you pegged it, she's being maternal to him, just the way she is to her brother.
