Even in terrible or abusive relationships, there are usually some good parts, things that make you happy. That's one of the ways people get suckered into tolerating abuse in the first place.

It's okay to have mixed feelings. Lots of people do. Doesn't mean you forgive the abuse, or have any illusions that it would be a good situation to go back to.

Abusers get you on an emotional rollercoaster trying to have the highs make up for the lows. It's totally normal to miss the highs.
