Complications arising from minor surgery.

No word on Carrie yet though, reportedly on a ventilator so probably announced next week or held over to 2017 so the family don't associate switching off with Christmas.

Stable covers a multitude of sins. Brain dead and alive on artificial respiration is still stable. She was WOO for at least fifteen minutes, she's Schumachered.

Nah, they are right. I went too far when I invoked the state of Michael Schumacher as a comparison. That was unfair and I went too far. I regret that now. I still stand by the rest, she was WithOut Oxygen for 15 minutes, so that is generally respirator until the family arrive and switch off territory. It is stable, but not good kind of stable.

Could be, but other people have recovered from that in the past who are around her age. There's a good chance she won't make it but it's not abandon all hope yet. Nothing to really do but wait and see.
