Man, I've not seen that one but I used to love that show about the guy who rescues chimpanzees. Escape to Chimp Eden. That show was fantastic.

It sounds pretty similar, but they have Orangutans and other primates too.

It is horrible how some people treat the animals, especially chimps and orangs, though when they use them for the tourist trade. They do stuff like knock their teeth out and chop off the end of their fingers so they cannot hurt the tourists. I think maybe it would be better not to have apes which are capable of hurting people as props for the tourism business in the first place.

Yeah. It seems like people are most "creatively" cruel to the more intelligent animals in our world.

Especially Orangs, they are doing stuff like spearing fish and learning how to steal boats and start outboard motors, even in the wild. I think we have to admit that Orangs are a lot closer to us than we want to admit (and I hear some university has one as a Librarian, but I've never seen it).
