the thing is that having a genuinely good communist in fiction was very weird at the time the character's show was on

perhaps this is not true in our enlightened times however i have yet to see an american movie in which communists are there and are not wishing to destroy our society and rape strapping young american boys

Yes, I do. I'm not familiar with the fandom, so for all I know this could be one of the goos~ guys. But that is the thing with politics, what one person sees as bad others see as great.

i'm pretty sure i did say he was a good guy. i mean, you may have to take my word for it, but they had him on the show every week in a basic protagonistic role so idk
