This one is hitting me heard. Leia meant so much to me as a kid. Still does really.

I'm more sad about this than any other celeb death this year tbh.

She was way too young, and was still going strong. So sad. :(

She was the same age my mom is. That makes it even more unsettling for me.

Oh, my friend told me that tonight after I came over! And right after we read the book for club. :(

He was old, though. In his 90s, right? He lived a good long life.

I couldn't get into the grim animal world genre the British Isles were so fond of but he lived a nice, long life.

So they were just waiting until after Christmas to discontinue the ventilator after all.

That's what I was thinking too. :( I work in a hospital, so I know a lot of the protocol when it comes to end of life care. Plus I had heard that she was without oxygen possibly for up to 15 minutes when she had the heart attack, and that's pretty much game over for anyone. :(

RIP, Space Princess.

I'm more sad than I thought I'd be. She was so young. Her poor daughter and mother.

I legit might buy Bloodline with my birthday money.

Leia is such a badass in Bloodline. Probably my favorite new canon book.

She was amazing and will truly be missed. As will the General.

Drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.

I can't wait for this year to be done.

May she rest in peace.

She was so, so, so wonderful and such a force of good in the world. I hope so much that her last thought was a good one. :'(
