I still can't keep track of my antidepressants well enough to keep from running out. Then I get so depressed that I have trouble convincing myself the pills will make me happy again. Eventually I get off my ass and get more pills, I feel okay for a while, and then the cycle repeats.

That sucks. I have to take a bunch of medication (not anti-depressants) and had this problem at first as well. Do you have to get a new prescription from your doctor each time or is it just a matter of getting more pills?

New prescription each time. Not sure why.

That's annoying. Next time you see them, ask why. Tell them you have this problem. Maybe they can make getting a new prescription easier, or you can get several at once. Or you can figure out some other solution. Don't feel bad asking this, it's a problem affecting your health, your doctor should help you find a solution.

The fact that you have to visit your doctor and get a new prescription, is that's what's keeping you from refilling your meds? Or do you think you'd still have problems even if you'd just have to get more pills, no doctor's visit required?
