If you have time, I would definitely recommend The Clone Wars TV series. I'm biased because I absolutely love it. The stories come in small arcs or individual episodes so they're pretty easy to watch in small batches. I would give it a try.

I've heard that before, and that they really flesh out what happens in the prequels. I think I was put off by the animation, but I'll give it a go next time I want to binge something. Thanks for the rec :)
