What's your favorite gift you got recently?

The Dictionary of Imaginary Places. As you can guess, it's an encyclopedia of fictional places in books and movies. It's got all this really obscure fantasy and sci-fi that I've never heard of anywhere else and that are in the public domain and that I want to try to track down. I also love snickering at the entries about books written by philosophers trying to promote their ideas or tear down someone else's. The allegory is just so obvious that it's funny to me. And it's great inspiration for my own writing since I really really love worldbuilding. If there's ever a new edition, I want some of the places I made up to be in there.

I think the book my Reddit Secret Santa got me (Flour Water Salt Yeast) was my favorite.

Though, my sister got me a gorgeous bundt pan!

The best gift I got recently was from the American people and it was Hillary losing the election. God bless you flyover, for proving why California cannot be allowed to distort the popular vote.

I got a nice rose gold and gemstone rainbow/chakra ring (the stones are arranged ruby, orange and yellow sapphire, emerald, aquamarine, blue sapphire, diamond). The stones are tiny but genuine and it's a delicate ring, I love it.
