The original short for 9 was beautiful and well told, but doing a fantastic short and doing a fantastic movie are two different animals and they definitely struggled fleshing out that story.

I didn't think it was horrible all together and I enjoyed it, but I can completely see why someone would not like the movie.

Agreed. The short was exquisite. The film was (sadly) forgettable for the most part.
