That's fine, not every celeb death is going to affect you. But for most folks there's at least one or two that will hit them like a sack of bricks. As long as you can acknowledge it's sad or at least not tell your friends they're ridiculous for grieving then I don't see anything wrong.

Oh no, I'd never invalidate someone's feelings about these things. I'm sure there'll be some celebrity deaths that will affect me more than my friends as well (have been, even), Carrie Fisher is just not one of them.

This. Carrie is hitting me hard, Robin Williams hit me like a mack truck, and Steve Irwin's death still hurts, ten years later.

I wasn't especially hurting over Bowie or Rickman, even though I liked them, they just didn't me hit me as hard.
