Why? And where? I am not privvy to this kind of insanity, and I'm not sure I want to be.

I don't really know why. I guess maybe they think the white person is better suited, or they just conveniently forget. The most recent example that I can think of is the movie "21"; it's based on a true story, and in real life, the students were mostly Asian-American, but in the movie, they all (or at least most of them -- I haven't seen it) are white. I know I've seen more, but that's the one that comes to mind right now.

And whether it's PBs or actors or whatever, I think making a Caucasion-looking character another race is completely harmless whereas making a CoC white is a bit more negative.

I'd agree with you that it's potentially more negative, but it all seems equally bizarre to me.

Well, I'd agree with you there. Then again, I've never done roleplaying or anything like that and try to stick to canon appearances when I do any other kind of representation.

Kaba and Jabba were definitely the best crews as far as sheer dancing talent went, but BreakSk8 wins the "boys I would like to see sexing each other up" category.
