I've always thought furries were interesting, but I think the fursuits are just too much. Furs in costumes and body paint instead of Disney-esque suits? Hawt.

It pisses me off that people act like JUST being a furry automatically makes you some kind of degenerate freak. They're not hurting anyone and they're usually the sweetest, most open-minded and open-hearted people you could hope to meet, in my experience. /long-winded

I agree. I'm not a furry, but WTF is up with all this hatred for furries, especially in the anime community? Like being into anime isn't weird at all? It's like some people are just trying to find someone else to look down on to make themselves feel better. Can't people just be happy enjoying their own hobbies without cutting anyone else down? Sheesh.

I, as both a furry and an anime fan, think it may be because outsiders view anime fans as fat, lifeless freaks.
So they rip on the furries to make themselves feel better like "lol at least we're not as bad as them"!
It's all rather sad.
