I drink for two reasons:

1. Socially

2. I need to write something and I'm too in my own head about it to get anywhere.

Beverage of choice is wine, and I tend to prefer white semi dry or sweet varieties. For writing I just knock back 2-3 shots of whatever's to hand (a bottle of Aberlour got me through the end of my degree) and I'm good to go from there.
