Isn't the bigger question how the YGO fandom is doing in general? I mean *I* was in that fandom, way back in 2004-5, and I liked some of the sequel series, but by the time this one came out I was kind of past my Yugioh days.
Also, I have to admit that I really didn't like Yuma's design. I know that all Yugioh designs are inherently silly, but for me this one was just too OTT. Never underestimate how the perceived sexiness of the characters can affect shipping...
