That looks more like a True Blood (Southern Vampire Mystery). The blonde looks like Sookie and the vampire on the right looks just like Bill. And the one closest to her on the left could be Eric.

I've been angry about this since childhood, especially since I missed the heyday (I was 8 years old in 2001 when Buffy ended, and I watched it, yeah, but I wasn't old enough to get it the way I do now or be in the fandom). It's a shame the idea wasn't pitched now, when adult animation is more of an accepted medium.

Considering the special effects budget Whedon had to work with in the later episodes, I'm not sure animation would have led to that much more freedom.

Every time I think about picking the comics up, I remember that Xander/Dawn is a thing in them and... no.
Also I assume the Spike/Buffy/Angel triangle is super annoying in them soooo another no.
