I still don't understand Primer.

And I did not understand Under the Skin when I first watched it. I guess they removed a lot of explanation that was in the book to make it more...artsy?

I thought Under the Skin was fairly similar to the book? I read the book and don't remember the movie really removing much...hmmm.

Thiiiis.

I watched Mulholland Drive when I was like sixteen and I had no clue what I'd just watched, except that it was creepy af. Maybe if I watched it now I'd understand it better, but I'm really not sure.

And a couple years later I watched Inland Empire, and, just, like, what the fuck. O_o

I get Eraserhead and I get Blue Velvet - both are weird and fucked up and dark but the actual STORIES are fairly straightforward. Pretty much everything after that, though....what
