I haven't been near that fandom since the big hiatus, but it had some AMAZING theories. Insanely complicated things involving mythology and medicine and clues in German-- there was this big thing about some suspicious-looking blond dude who got several closeups at one point, and there were theories about him being connected to Moriarty but really I think he was just an extra. Basically the fans were way more creative than the writers.

I haven't even watched S3, lol.
