I don't know, a lot of my space fandoms have either the medical or the transport technology(/handwavey magic) to fix or work around most issues? I mean, Star Trek alone can fix anything that stops short of actual death, and transporters mean that there's often very little actual 'flying' involved in space travel. Beam up and you're there, in basically a mobile conference centre, no muss no fuss.
