I feel like such a hypocrite.
I think shipping real people is skeevy, never got into bandom or LotR cast slash, felt like SPN tinhatters often verged on delusional (or went right over that ledge)...
Maybe that makes this karma?

Looks like a heraldic animal, so royalty maybe?

(Anonymous) 2017-01-06 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'm racking my brain here. Is it Harry Potter related?

(Anonymous) 2017-01-06 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
I don't ship real people.

But there are real couples that I think are sweet and would momentarily be sad if they broke up.

It'd be nice if we knew what you were talking about, OP.

Not going to lie -- shipping a carved griffin with a window is a little bit skeevy. But as long as you aren't forcing your ship on them or on the people around you, live and let live, OP. YKINMK, and that's okay!

It's either a basilisk or a cockatrice, if that's helpful. I'm blanking on the difference???

Not here to tell anyone whether or not they should be shipping real live mythical beasts, but there you have it.

It's Jacob Mould's cockatrice from an overdoor at Belvedere Castle in Central Park, NYC.

Thanks, Anon! It's beautiful, so it's nice to know where it's from. FS now has me looking up architecture-and-statuary pics to see more...

I looked up the 'in popular culture' section of the Wiki page and I certainly hope this secret is not somehow about Smurfs.

I'll be happy if I never in my life see smurf-related smurfing RPS, even if it's not porny.

I've never in my life seen architect RPF, so... the whole mythical beast angle, but... about real people, not real cockatrices?

heheh cockatrice.
