That's why she sings that she can learn to be happy living in the island, finding her place the way her dad wants to. And she is shown as happy with her people, up to the moment when they start lacking food.

Again, I apologize. As usual, I used phrasing I shouldn't have used. This creates a cycle where I obsessively edit my posts over and over for months to make sure I used exactly the right words, slowly become less paranoid, and then screw up again and become obsessive again.
