Yeah, those kinds of stories are always particularly heartbreaking. The creepiest ones for me are when a family member is responsible for them, like John List.

The Josh Powell case from a few years ago is a memorable one for me, too. That story is so haunting and tragic. I feel so bad for the woman's parents-first they lose their daughter, then they lose their grandchildren. And Josh's father was CREEPY AS FUCK and I am fully convinced there's way more that he knows about Josh's wife's disappearance/murder.

I remember seeing a story about the disappearance of the McStay family on "Disappeared". So sad to learn their fate. Very, very strange case with them.
